What is tartar?
Tartar is plaque (a thin film containing bacteria that regularly forms on the teeth) that has hardened on the teeth. Tartar build-up can cause gum diseases and bad breath. Untreated, tartar build-up can lead to infections that will be harmful not only to teeth and gums, but also to the overall health of the animal.

We have a 2.5 year old Rottweiler and he is not fond of us sticking anything in his mouth except for food. He doesn't like his nails trimmed and really doesn't like his teeth brushed. I wanted to find a natural remedy to try and assist with the dark brown tarter that was starting to develop on his teeth. We were so worries he would need a sedated dental cleaning. I purchased the tartar spray and for a few days he would let me sneak a spray in... then he started to get smart to what I was doing and said no way... so then I sprayed it in his water bowl. After 4 treatments, yes only 4 days, there is an extremely noticeable difference in his teeth. They are super white and only a very very back tooth has tartar. This stuff is amazing and does exactly what the makers claim. Not only that, during the buying process, they were thorough, helpful and wanted to determine that my Fur Baby got the exact treatment he needed. Wish I would have done before and after pictures.
For Tanya, the plaque on her teeth are bad… due to her age and also due to the fact that I am bad in that department and the last time she had dental scaling was when she was 10. After that I got worried in putting her under anesthetic but also do not take care of her teeth.
