HUA, located in the beautiful rolling hills of Auburn, Nebraska, is a no-kill organization dedicated to relieving the suffering of domestic animals by providing quality shelter, sanctuary, and adoptions, and by promoting animal welfare issues. Our efforts have resulted in thousands of dog and cat adoptions since the year 1989.
Pup of the Month!
Ingalls was in a high intake shelter in Texas when friends in rescue pulled him out and arranged for his transport to HUA. He’s friendly and loving, and was wonderful with the foster children when he stayed with them before coming to HUA. He LOVES his toys and will jump high into the air to catch them, making “fetch” even more fun than usual. Ingalls is currently living with his foster mom on the HUA campus and she says he is a dream come true. He is playful and silly, friends with the other dogs, crate and house trained, and just the best boy around. Despite the fact that Ingalls did not have a very good life prior to coming to the shelter, he is a dog full of happiness and sunshine.
